Rude Mood? Who are they?
Rude Mood made its first appearance on the northwest music scene in the winter of 2006.
After playing guitar in many local rock’n’blues outfits for over 20 years, guitarist Graham Rawlinson decided to assemble a blues rock band on his own terms... No compromise, high quality musicians who loved the music they were playing.
The formula was to be kept simple...
a tight bass and drum engine, driving a powerful guitar sound
influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Hendrix, and Joe Bonamassa.
On drums is Mick, a drummer with
years of experience playing as a professional, touring the
country with rock outfits and recording in prestigious studios
such as Abbey Road.
On bass is Phil: this man lives to
play bass and his experience shows in his powerful driving style
which is both elegant and brutal in its execution. After playing
all over the North West in many rock and blues bands Phil was a
vital addition to the style and sound of the band.
On guitar, vocals and harmonica is
Graham, a compelling guitar style, with a genuine feel for the
blues, lightening licks and showmanship.
The last 5 years has seen the band
establish a solid reputation in the north of England, playing
bike rallies, music festivals, blues clubs and local pubs;
there’s been radio play on ekr (european klassic rock) and biker
fm.
The enjoyment of the band shows through in the exuberance and relaxed style performance, their sense of fun is infectious; and the music speaks for itself...
