Next gig...

18/07/09: The Bay Horse, 1 Station Road , Thornton, FY5 5HY

(afternoon gig, battle of the bands)

.........................................................................................

We've also decided that the charging on the door at the West Coast isn't a goer, and so have decided that we'll be doing these for free in future.

It'll be as sort of rehearsal in public, sort of, but should some people turn up, we'll do a set proper.

Anyway, watch this space for further developments.

The music page is now up..

Download and enjoy.

It's also available at our myspace page:

We were played on Ekr radio  http://www.ekr.net/ and the presenter rather fluffed our name a bit.

But great to have been on the radio.

Radio Caroline http://www.radiocaroline.co.uk/ also played us too, but cocked up the intro, having introduced "The Sky Is Crying" he then played our own composition "If Looks Could Kill"...  way to go fellas!!

In mitigation, though, they did give a massive plug for the next gig at the Traveller's. Thanks a lot for that guys, and the support.

Our mixdown of our last studio session needs mastering, and it's a rather steep learning curve to do that, but, we'll get on that as soon as we can.**

In the meantime, I've been learning about how to put the music demos up onto the site for both download and streaming, and I'm onto that right now. Apparently, the problems that I've been having are Flash/Firefox issues and have been sorted out by a recent upgrade. All appears to work well in IE, but not everyone uses that, do they? So I've been holding off posting the tunes until I got the whole thing sorted.

**If anyone knows how to master post-mix and get that professional-sounding "sparkle" onto a track, (oh, and do it for free) please send an email to ranger121@blueyonder.co.uk and I'll arrange to get the data to you. It can be a mixed-down .wav or even the total track data from Sonar, if you like.

We're taking bookings for 2009, get in quick whilst there's time!!

Who the hell are Rude Mood?

We are an experienced Blues/Rock band from the Cleveleys area of Lancashire. (Err.. that's in the tiny United Kingdom, for the world-wide visitors)

Our songbase includes covers of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, Hendrix, Lonnie Mac and others, along with some original works.

The demo songs are recent recordings (October 2008)

We're loud, proud, and no, if we're really honest, we don't give a damn.

We are currently playing venues in Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Blackpool and Lancaster; in fact, anywhere we can get a gig, really.. We are looking to branch out further afield, if only we knew the places to go. So if you can help us out with a gig or two, we'll be very grateful. In fact, Mick will buy you a drink. (No, only kidding.)

Get onto the "Want to book us" page and we'll go from there.

Right, that's the business bit over, so...

The demo tracks are available for download, or can be played using your favourite media player.

Spread them about, upload them, do what you want, just give us the credit for being able to make good music. Ta.

Our wesite is under construction, so the pages are being loaded a bit at a time, as they are finshed. Be patient with me (my first website).

Keeping coming back, and checking it out!

Enjoy your stay!
